Sistem Client Server Pemesanan Menu Makanan Berbasis Android Di Restoran Dengan Metode Lagrange Untuk Optimasi Memasak Makanan

A restaurant is a service whose operation is in the form of selling food or drinks to guests in small groups with the intention of making a profit. The food menu ordering system in restaurants in general still uses the usual way, to order food the customer comes and the waiter delivers the menu list and the waiter still records customer orders manually using paper. After that, the waiter conveys the customer's order to the food preparation section and then delivers it to the customer who has ordered the food, after that the customer pays to the cashier. This seems ineffective and allows for writing errors that result in incorrect orders, duplicate orders, blunt pencils, out-of-order pens or paper which cuts a lot of time to replace them. In addition, with a manual ordering process like this, there are often errors in the order order due to the accumulation of order notes, this has a negative impact on customer satisfaction. Therefore it is necessary to build an android-based menu ordering application that can help the service process. This android-based system aims to help restaurants serve food and beverage menus in a modern and efficient form, help customers know the composition of food and drinks, shorten serving time, minimize errors that occur in ordering, reduce restaurant operational costs. Another problem that often arises in restaurants is that guests wait too long for the food ordered. To solve this problem, it is necessary to optimize the food cooking process, where processes that can be carried out simultaneously can be processed first or several of the same food menu can be cooked first. To perform the optimization process, the Lagrange method can be used. The results of this study are an android- based client server ordering system that can make it easier for customers to place orders so as to increase customer convenience and by providing cooking optimization features with the application of the Lagrange method, it can be seen the order of the food menu that must be cooked first by the chef.
