Daily devotion is an important activity for Protestant Christians to build a closer relationship with God through prayer and Bible reading, yet it is hard to maintain consistently because of busy schedules, the lack of a dedicated reminder, and unstable mobile internet connectivity in the Teluk Selimau area. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based daily devotional reminder application named TeduhKu using the Waterfall model, which consists of five phases: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System requirements were collected through interviews with the pastor and church administrators, questionnaires distributed to congregants, and a literature study. The application was built with Kotlin and XML layouts in Android Studio, using the MVVM architecture, an offline-first approach based on SQLite through the Room Persistence Library, AlarmManager for local alarms with Snooze and Stop functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging as a supplementary notification channel. The novelty of this study lies in integrating daily devotional content filterable by time of day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night), local alarms, a reflection journal, and supplementary notifications in a single application whose core functions do not depend on the internet. The contribution of this study is the design and implementation of a devotional support application that can run under limited connectivity. Black-box testing of 23 test scenarios shows that all scenarios were valid, giving a success rate of 100% (23 out of 23 scenarios). The testing measures only functional conformity; the impact on the regularity of congregants’ devotions has not been measured.
